This Privacy Policy does not replace the privacy policies of third parties that you choose to use with Jüulio™, such as payment providers, financing providers, communications providers, or accounting integrations. Those parties process information under their own terms and privacy notices.

2. Who This Policy Applies To

Back to top

This Privacy Policy may apply differently depending on your relationship to Jüulio™:

  • Business Users are businesses, organizations, shop owners, administrators, employees, contractors, and other authorized users who use Jüulio™ to manage operations.
  • Customers of Business Users are consumers or other end customers who interact with a Business User through Jüulio™, such as through booking pages, portals, invoices, payments, messages, or support workflows.

3. Our Role in Processing Personal Information

Back to top

Jüulio™ does not act in the same role for all information processed through the platform.

3.1 When We Act for Ourselves

We generally act as the business that determines the purposes and means of processing when we process information such as:

  • account registration and subscription data for Business Users;
  • support requests sent to us;
  • billing and vendor-management data relating to our own relationship with a Business User;
  • public visitor, lead, demo, and contact-sales data collected directly through Jüulio™ pages we operate;
  • security, fraud-prevention, and abuse-prevention logs that we maintain for the platform; and
  • our own analytics and service-improvement data.

3.2 When We Act on Behalf of a Business User

We may act as a service provider or processor when a Business User uses Jüulio™ to manage information about that Business User's own customers, employees, appointments, communications, invoices, payments, files, or other records.

If you are a customer of a business using Jüulio™, that business may control much of the information in your account, booking, invoice, portal, repair, payroll, or communication record. In those cases:

  • we may process the data on the Business User's behalf; and
  • you may need to direct some privacy requests to that Business User first.

We may still assist directly where required by law or where operationally appropriate.

  • financial or payment-related information needed for subscription, invoicing, payout, or transaction workflows;
  • employee, payroll, timekeeping, or workforce-related records submitted by Business Users; and
  • contents of files, support materials, or free-text submissions if you choose to include sensitive information there.

Jüulio™ is not intended to collect Social Security numbers, government-issued identification numbers, bank passwords, or similarly sensitive credentials through ordinary platform use. However, users may choose to upload or type such data into free-text fields or file uploads. If that occurs, we may process it as part of operating the service, but you should avoid submitting highly sensitive information unless it is strictly necessary and specifically requested for a lawful business purpose.

4.3 Payment Card and Financing Data

Jüulio™ does not store full payment card numbers, card security codes, or full financing application data on its own servers. Those items are typically collected and processed directly by payment processors or financing providers through their secure systems.

4.4 No Knowing Collection From Children Under 13

Jüulio™ is intended for business and commercial use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

  • analyze usage and improve platform performance, safety, and product design.

We may also de-identify or aggregate information and use that information for analytics, operations, performance measurement, service planning, and lawful business purposes.

7. Cookies, Local Storage, Session Storage, and Online Identifiers

Back to top

Jüulio™ uses cookies, local storage, session storage, app storage, and related identifier technologies.

7.1 What We Use

Depending on the Jüulio™ surface you use, we may use:

  • browser cookies for locale settings, security state, and limited session-related functions;
  • local storage and session storage for authentication state, visitor IDs, device IDs, session IDs, preferences, and workflow continuity;
  • mobile or native app storage for account state, user preferences, device IDs, tokens, and operational settings;
  • request IDs, correlation IDs, and similar technical identifiers for tracing, debugging, and abuse prevention;
  • public-form tokens, anti-bot fields, and request-age checks for public forms; and
  • secure or HTTP-only cookies for administrative or protected internal workflows where applicable.

7.2 Why We Use Them

We use these technologies to:

  • keep users logged in where appropriate;
  • remember settings and preferences;
  • support booking, portal, and public-form workflows;
  • generate and persist visitor/session identity for analytics, anti-abuse, and operational continuity;
  • secure forms and reduce automated abuse;
  • troubleshoot platform issues; and
  • understand how pages and features are being used.

7.3 Browser and Device Controls

You can usually control cookies through your browser settings and clear local or session storage through your browser or device. Mobile-device settings may also allow you to reset advertising, app, or notification settings. Disabling cookies, storage, or device permissions may limit functionality.

7.4 Do Not Track

Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" settings. At this time, Jüulio™ does not respond to Do Not Track signals in a standardized way, except where applicable law requires a different treatment.

7.5 Sale or Share for Cross-Context Advertising

Based on the current Jüulio™ platform described in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising through the current Jüulio™ platform.

8. Communications, Notifications, and Marketing

Back to top

Jüulio™ may be used to send or facilitate:

  • transactional emails, receipts, invoices, reminders, and confirmations;
  • SMS messages, voice calls, or other customer communications sent at the direction of a Business User;
  • security alerts, verification messages, support responses, and service notices;
  • product updates, newsletters, or promotional messages directed to Business Users; and
  • push notifications, in-app alerts, and live operational notifications.

8.1 Communications Sent on Behalf of Business Users

Where a Business User uses Jüulio™ to communicate with its customers, that Business User is responsible for:

  • obtaining any legally required consent;
  • providing legally required notices;
  • honoring opt-out or revocation requests where required;
  • ensuring message content complies with applicable law; and
  • using Jüulio™ only for lawful communications.

Jüulio™ may store message content, timestamps, delivery state, suppression records, and related metadata to operate the service, support delivery, investigate issues, and comply with law.

8.2 Marketing Communications From Jüulio™

We may send marketing communications to Business Users about Jüulio™. You may opt out by using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us at holler@juulio.com. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send service, billing, legal, security, and other non-marketing messages.

8.3 Push Notifications

Mobile or native applications may ask for permission to send push notifications. If you enable them, we may process device tokens and related notification data in order to send alerts, reminders, workflow updates, and other operational messages. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.

9. Payments, Billing, and Financial Integrations

Back to top

Jüulio™ may support subscriptions, invoice payments, payment acceptance, payouts, Buy Now Pay Later or installment-related workflows, and connected accounting flows.

9.1 Payment Processing

Payment details are generally processed by third-party providers such as Stripe and other payment partners. Jüulio™ may receive and store limited payment-related data, such as:

  • processor customer IDs or connected account IDs;
  • transaction amounts, statuses, timestamps, and invoice references;
  • payout status and subscription status;
  • terminal or payment-device preferences; and
  • limited receipt, contact, or billing metadata needed for platform functions.

9.2 Financing and BNPL

If a Business User enables financing or BNPL options, the customer's application and financing-related data may be processed by the relevant provider. Jüulio™ may receive status, approval, transaction, or scheduling information needed to reflect the transaction within the platform.

9.3 Accounting and QuickBooks-Style Sync

If a Business User connects an accounting integration, Jüulio™ may process:

  • accounting tokens or connection state;
  • customer, vendor, invoice, payment, estimate, expense, and income records;
  • sync status, reconciliation state, and operational error logs; and
  • configuration settings needed to keep records aligned.

Disconnecting an integration stops new synchronization, but does not automatically delete records that have already been created in the third-party platform.

10. AI and Automated Features

Back to top

Jüulio™ may use AI and automation features to assist with workflows such as support, drafting, summarization, search, reporting, structured extraction, customer interaction support, intake handling, and other productivity functions.

10.1 Data Used for AI Features

Depending on the feature, AI-related processing may involve:

  • prompts, questions, and instructions submitted by users;
  • chat or support history;
  • report context or structured business data;
  • uploaded files, text extracts, images, or estimate materials;
  • booking or communications context;
  • session history and short-lived support state; and
  • metadata needed for rate limiting, safety, and operational logging.

10.2 AI Providers

Jüulio™ may use OpenAI and other service providers to perform AI-related processing. We use business-oriented API services and provider settings or contractual controls intended to support confidentiality and restricted use of submitted data. However, third-party provider practices are governed by their own then-current terms, privacy notices, and legal obligations.

10.3 Redaction and Minimization

Where feasible, Jüulio™ may attempt to redact, filter, or minimize certain data before sending content to an AI provider. Those measures are helpful but not perfect. Users should not assume that every sensitive field will always be removed automatically.

10.4 Human Review and Operations

AI inputs, outputs, and session data may be reviewed by authorized personnel where reasonably necessary to:

  • provide support;
  • investigate misuse or abuse;
  • debug errors;
  • improve safety and reliability; or
  • comply with law.

10.5 Use AI Carefully

Do not submit highly sensitive personal information to AI features unless it is strictly necessary and specifically appropriate for the workflow. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading and should be reviewed by a human before being relied upon for business, legal, financial, employment, safety, or customer-facing decisions.

11. Public Pages, Portals, Managed Websites, and Uploads

Back to top

Jüulio™ may power public-facing or customer-facing pages such as:

  • booking pages;
  • customer portals;
  • public invoice or payment pages;
  • intake and estimate request forms;
  • contact forms and demo-booking forms;
  • managed websites and hosted pages;
  • customer messaging or customer-support pages; and
  • other public or semi-public workflows.

11.1 Information Collected Through Public Pages

These workflows may collect:

  • names, email addresses, phone numbers, and contact preferences;
  • appointment, vehicle, service, estimate, or job details;
  • uploaded photos, files, documents, or other media;
  • visitor IDs, device IDs, session IDs, landing URL, referrer, and UTM parameters;
  • IP address, user agent, request timing, request IDs, and security or anti-abuse metadata; and
  • form-token, honeypot, and similar abuse-prevention results.

11.2 Managed Websites

When Jüulio™ hosts or manages websites or public pages for a Business User, we may process content, visitor data, technical logs, security-plugin data, administrative support data, and uploaded materials needed to host, maintain, secure, or support those websites or pages.

The Business User remains responsible for its own website content, notices, cookies, communications, and end-customer relationship to the extent the site is operated for that Business User's business.

11.3 Uploads

Files and media submitted through Jüulio™ may be stored and processed for service delivery, support, recordkeeping, and workflow execution. We may enforce file-type, file-count, file-size, and content restrictions to protect the platform and users.

12. Mobile Applications, Device Permissions, and Local Device Features

Back to top

Jüulio™ mobile and native applications may request access to device features depending on the workflows you use.

12.1 Location

Jüulio™ may request location access for workflows such as:

  • verifying whether a user is within an approved work location before starting timers;
  • monitoring whether a timer or clock event remains compliant with location rules;
  • stopping or restricting location-based workflows when a user leaves an approved area; and
  • displaying location-associated status in timekeeping or workforce interfaces.

Where enabled, location workflows may involve precise geolocation, background location checks, location compliance outcomes, and approved-location references. Disabling location permissions may prevent certain timer, employee-clock, or workforce features from working.

12.2 Notifications and Device Tokens

Jüulio™ may request permission to send push notifications and may store or process device tokens and notification preferences to send operational alerts and updates.

12.3 Camera, Photos, Files, and Media Access

Jüulio™ may request access to the camera, photo library, or file system to support uploads, estimates, receipts, support requests, attachments, scanning, documentation, or customer-submitted materials.

12.4 Live Activities, Widgets, and Lock Screen Surfaces

Jüulio™ may display limited timer, employee-clock, status, or related workflow information through widgets, live activities, or lock-screen surfaces where supported by the device and enabled by the user.

12.5 Local App Storage

Mobile and native applications may store user preferences, tokens, account references, device IDs, cached operational data, and workflow state locally on the device to support app functionality.

13. How We Disclose Information

Back to top

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.

13.1 Service Providers and Infrastructure Providers

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate Jüulio™, including providers for:

  • cloud hosting and storage;
  • file handling and delivery;
  • payment processing and payout services;

Information may be visible to the relevant Business User's authorized administrators, employees, contractors, support personnel, and delegates based on roles, permissions, and workflow settings.

  • investigate fraud, abuse, harassment, or security incidents;
  • protect the rights, property, or safety of Jüulio™, Business Users, customers, or the public; or

13.5 Business Transfers

We may disclose or transfer information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, receivership, or transition of service to another provider, subject to applicable law.

13.6 With Your Consent or Direction

We may disclose information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.

14. Data Retention

Back to top

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

Retention depends on the type of data, the role in which we process it, the settings selected by the Business User, legal obligations, dispute or enforcement needs, security requirements, and legitimate operational needs.

14.2 Deletion and De-Identification

When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, aggregate it, or de-identify it. De-identified or aggregated information may be retained and used for lawful business purposes.

Deleting the Jüulio™ application from a device does not, by itself, delete server-side account or business records. Formal deletion or closure requests must still be made through the account, the relevant Business User, or by contacting us.

15. Data Security

Back to top

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.

These safeguards may include:

  • encrypted transmission using HTTPS/TLS;

  • rate limiting, signature validation, and abuse-prevention controls;
  • vendor management and contractual controls for service providers; and
  • incident-response and operational security practices.

No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, and no transmission or storage method is completely risk-free. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own credentials and devices and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
